The Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Hon Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar( Shatiman Zamfara) today Friday 6th/10/2017, inspected the ongoing reconstruction of Gusau bypass dual carriageway awarded by the present administration.
Inspecting the road project, Governor Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar charged the state ministries of works and that of Town planning saddled with the responsibilities of ensuring quality of works to do everything possible to avoided accepting sub standard project.
The Shatiman zamfara also challenged the officials of the two ministries overseeing the project, particularly the engineers supervising the technical aspects of the project to put the fear of Allah in ensuring qualitative job.
Governor Yari who expressed concern over failure to carry out proper supervision of contracts, said God would not forgive the officials of the ministries for the next twenty years, in the event they failed to ensure quality job and accepted sub standard project.
The Governor however expressed hope that, the construction company handling the project, TRIACTA would ensure compliance to all contractual agreements in executing the project.
The Executive Governor also charged the company to make sure that the project is completed within six months period, as stimulated in the contract agreements.
Alhaji Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar who was excited by the company's planning also expressed happiness over the way the company commences the project and hoped that it would maintain the tempo.

During the inspection, the commissioner of Land and survey Alhaji Ahmad Sharu and the Project Manager of the contracting company TRIACTA construction limited, Engineer Walid Abu Jaudi conducted the governor round the road project.
It could be recalled that the administration of Governor Abdul'aziz Yari Abubakar awarded the contract for the reconstruction of the Gusau Byepass road at the cost of over two point two billion naira and fifty percent of the total sum amounting to over one point one billion naira has already been paid to the company.
The governor was accompanied on the inspection by two of his Special Advisers Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Dosara of Public enlightenment Media and Communications and that of protocol affairs Alhaji Sani Garba Gusau.

Other top government's officials on the Governor's entourage included Commissioners of Rural Development, Justice, Technical Education, Environment and Solid Mineral Development and Prof Lawali Bilbis, among other top government functionaries.
Earlier, the Governor inspected Talata Mafara General Hospital where he ordered for a combined action plan between the hospital management and the state Engineers to submit a proposal that would give a complete overhauling to the hospital with an extension of wards and other basic facilities.
